Before her performance, Amber revealed in her VT that she would be dedicating the routine to her mother, Susan.

The 27-year-old became emotional and broke down in tears before taking to the ice to sing Spice Girl’s single ‘Mama’.

“Anyone who knows me knows how close my mom and I are.

“No matter what happens in life.”

Dancing on Ice’s cameras then cut to Amber composing herself and wiping away her tears.

However, when it came to her movement routine, the judges asked the actress to incorporate more “solo skating” into her routine.

As a result, Amber and Simon received 33 points out of 40.

Reacting to her routine, one fan said, “I feel like they’re trying to get Amber out tonight.”

A second person wrote: “Amber Davis finished dancing in front of her mom and no, she definitely wasn’t crying.”

“What’s the difference with Amber? I thought she did an amazing job!! This judge is terrible,” said a third.
