Fans flooded X (formerly Twitter) and admitted they cried after watching the trailer.

One fan said the documentary trailer left them

One fan said the documentary’s trailer had left them “shattered to pieces.”

Another fan said they were

Another fan said they were “completely shocked” by Celine’s diagnosis and current situation.

Another commented: “I’m already crying.” Queen, you deserve nothing more than health, love, and all praise. Stay strong, Celine, we love you so much and miss you like hell,” another user added, while another user wrote, “Here I am again crying over Celine Dion. “I am,” he added. My love for this woman for over 30 years knows no bounds. ”

Another fan wrote: “I couldn’t stop crying after watching one minute of the trailer. Just imagine what would happen if I watched the entire documentary.”

One of the trailer’s most shocking scenes involves a 911 call being heard, set against the backdrop of Las Vegas, where Celine had a spectacular residency until June 2019.

It’s unclear when or why the 911 call was made, but it was likely because she was battling stiff person syndrome.

Celine revealed in December 2022 that she had been diagnosed with the degenerative disease.

Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), also known as stiff man syndrome, is a rare neurological disorder that causes progressive muscle stiffness and spasms.

The cramps are painful and come and go, but can get worse over time. The stiffness usually affects the muscles in the torso, but can also affect the arms and legs.

At the end of the trailer, the mother of three tells fans that she describes her voice as the “conductor of your life” and promises to do whatever it takes to protect it.

“You are your best self when your voice brings you joy,” the video reads, as various clips of Celine recording and performing music over the years play.

Regarding live performance, she says: “It’s not hard to put on a show. But it’s hard to cancel a show. I work hard every day, but to be honest, it’s been hard. I miss playing shows so much. I miss everyone…”

The trailer ends with her saying, “If I can’t run, I’ll walk.” If I can’t walk, I’ll crawl. But I won’t stop, and neither will she. ”

I Am: Celine Dion will be available to stream on Amazon Prime on June 25th.
