A Dragon’s Den contestant made history by being offered cash and a job with Peter Jones.
The hit BBC One show returned last Thursday and the five Dragons were ready to see which new business ventures they could invest in.
One of the entrepreneurs who entered Dragons’ Den was 27-year-old Lucy. She started a business selling plastic-free pill bottles on her Amazon under the name Tabuu.
She came up with the idea after being told that after surviving pancreatic cancer, she needed to carry medicine with her at all times and that she needed to take medicine with every meal.
Lucy was looking for £50,000 in 25% of the business.
Lucy is impressed with her pitch, but gets a tick from Deborah Meaden for winking at Peter while talking to her.

Deborah called out to her and said, “It really helps if you focus on me rather than winking at Peter and answering the talker’s questions.”
Lucy quickly apologized, but Deborah had already made up her mind and decided to withdraw, with Stephen Bartlett coming next.

Following this, Peter surprised the brand guru with a life-changing job offer in his portfolio. She also offered £25,000 for her 20% investment in her product.
This was the first time something like that happened in a den.
Sarah Davis was the last dragon to make a 35% offer on all money and was reduced to 25% when she got her money back.
Lucy then suggested that all three Dragons team up, splitting the £50,000 investment between the three Dragons to take 40% of the company.
Peter, Touker, and Sara all agreed, and Lucy was thrilled with the results.
Dragons’ Den airs Thursdays at 8pm on BBC One.
