Jonny Irwin’s widow Jess Holmes has given an update on how she has been coping since her husband’s death, admitting she cannot adjust to life without him.
Irwin was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020 and announced just two years later that the terminal disease had spread to his brain.
He was initially given six months to live, but defied the odds and went public with his illness, garnering support from his loyal fans.
The 50-year-old regularly updated viewers on his condition after his cancer spread and bravely shared part of his journey before passing away on Friday, February 2, 2024.
When news of his death first broke, Holmes posted a long caption on her Instagram account, sharing her love for Irwin and how much she and their sons will miss him. .
Today she gave an update on how she was feeling, saying it “doesn’t feel real” alongside an image of a sun-drenched grassy hill.
She said: “It still doesn’t feel real. I’m so sad. I can’t even think about what a week without Johnny will be like, let alone what the next 10 years will be like.
“I’m truly touched by the support from friends and strangers. But nothing compares to the way I was picked up by my family and Johnny’s sisters. Your support and love means everything to me.” is.

Johnny left an important message for his sons
