The daughter of Star Wars ‘legend’ Paul Grant has paid tribute to him after his tragic death.
Paul, who starred as an Ewok in Return of the Jedi, died suddenly at just 56 years old after collapsing outside St. Pancras Station on March 16.
Sophie Jayne Grant, 28, praised her father and said she was “devastated” by his death.
Sophie from Peterborough said: ‘I am devastated.
“My father was a legend in many ways.
“He always put a smile and a laugh on everyone’s face.


“He would do anything for anyone and was a huge Arsenal fan.
“He was an actor, a father, a grandfather.
“He loved his daughters and sons, his girlfriend Maria, and her children who were like stepchildren to him.
“I love you so much, sleep well.”
The 4-foot-4-inch star, who also appeared in Harry Potter, was taken to hospital after police found him outside a train station last week.
Doctors declared him brain dead, and his family told The Sun that his life support machine was shut down on Sunday.
Paul, who is divorced and shares daughters Sophie and Nicole and son Robbie with ex-wife Janet Clawson, once revealed that his life hit rock bottom after his marriage fell apart. .
In 2014, he told the newspaper that he had been photographed snorting white powder and had blown the film’s money on drugs and alcohol.
A family friend told The Sun:
“He’s always battled drugs and alcoholism, but he’s been a talented actor.
“He called himself ‘King of the Dwarves’.
“so sad.”
His past credits include 1998’s Willow starring Val Kilmer, 1985 Tom Cruise’s film ‘The Legend’ and 1986’s ‘Labyrinth’ starring David Bowie.
He also played characters such as the adorable furry Ewoks who lived on the forest moon of Endor.
