Ryanair launches new direct flights from major UK airports just for Euro 2024


Popular budget airline Ryanair has announced that it will operate a unique, one-off new flight from one of Britain’s biggest airports.

The airline’s jets will be ferrying Brits from Bristol Airport to Frankfurt for the first time, just in time for the Euro 2024 Championships.

Passengers will now be able to travel direct from Bristol to Frankfurt on Ryanair flights.

The Ryanair flight is one of just five departing from a UK airport before or after the England v Denmark match in Frankfurt.

England’s match against them will be held on June 20th.

There are usually no direct flights between Bristol and Frankfurt.

Previously, travellers had to change planes in Amsterdam.

Ryanair will operate a direct flight for one day only to cater to football fans who want to attend the match.

Departs Bristol at 8.40am on Wednesday 19th June.

The return flight is scheduled to depart from Frankfurt-Hahn Airport at 6.55pm on Friday 21 June, the day after the England match.

“Ryanair has made more than 2,000 extra seats available for England fans travelling to watch what is sure to be an unforgettable match in person,” an airline spokesman said.

“With additional flights from London Stansted, Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham, fans will not only be able to travel conveniently to and from Frankfurt on matchday, but will also have the opportunity to soak up the pre- and post-match atmosphere on the ground.”

Hahn Airport CEO Franke Rüdiger also said: “At the airport we are looking forward to a major football festival.” Germany.

As Brits prepare for the summer holiday season, Ryanair has introduced an all-new range of cocktails to serve on board.

The budget airline has introduced a new in-flight drinks menu with a range of cocktails starting from just €9.50 (£8).

There are a total of seven ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages to choose from, each with a unique name.

These include Dublin Lemonade (Jameson Irish Whiskey, Sprite Zero, Sparkling Water), Fruit Snack (Bombay Sapphire Gin, Sprite Zero, Capri Sun), Rose Spritz (Rose Wine, Sprite Zero) and Flying Iced Tea (Bombay Sapphire Gin, Absolut Vodka, Coca-Cola).

Other drinks include the Tennessee Surfer, French 75 and Tropical Fizz.

This will increase the variety of drinks available on Ryanair flights and give passengers another way to gear up for their hard-earned summer holidays.
