Sarah Harris shared a little too much information with her co-stars and viewers during Tuesday’s episode of The Project.

After a segment about Telstra, which laid off 2,800 workers in favor of using AI, Kate Langbroek joked that robots would soon be doing everything for humans.

“When I get home, a female robot will be in bed with my husband!” she joked.

“I don’t have a husband!” Sarah replied, and Kate clarified, “You’ll get a robot husband!”

Sarah joked, “I almost think so,” but seconds later a surprised Kate exclaimed, “Oh!” oh! oh’.

“Well, it’s not a robot, but it’s USB powered,” Sarah said, apparently referring to the sex toy.

Laughter and shock broke out among the co-stars, with Waleed Ali fuming: “In case you missed it the first time?”

“I like that there’s no room for nuance,” Kate added, to stunned silence from her male co-stars.

“Is there anyone else to say?” Sarah asked, before guest star Nick Cody joked. “What do we want to say?” “Well done, Sarah. Congratulations!”

“I totally ruined that. I’m sorry,” Sarah sheepishly added, to which Kate replied, “I mean, it’s good to see you embracing technology!”

Domestic viewers weren’t entirely amused by the exchange, with some sharing their thoughts on X.

“TMI Sara,” one person wrote, while another agreed: “I love you so much!!!”

Another replied: “Yeah, no one needed to hear that!”

Some felt the exchange was disrespectful to the topic of workers being displaced by AI.

“I don’t think we should make fun of Telstra employees who have lost their jobs,” they wrote.

Domestic viewers did not find this exchange interesting at all.
