A Trump supporter launched an “extremely violent assault” on a BBC cameraman at a Texas rally through which the US president repeatedly whipped up the group’s anger over supposed media bias.

The BBC’s Washington correspondent Gary O’Donoghue, who’s blind, stated his colleague Ron Skeans had been filming Donald Trump‘s campaign-style rally in El Paso on Monday night when the incident occurred.

He stated the supporter of Mr Trump climbed on to the reporters’ platform and pushed the digital camera into his colleague, earlier than persevering with to push Mr Skeans.
